Persib Bandung host Melbourne Victory in the third round of Group E of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Two on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 19.15 WIB.

Coach Igor Tolic's side arrive as group leaders with six points. Persib opened the group stage with a 1-0 win over FC Seoul, then won by the same score against The Cong-Viettel.

Melbourne Victory are second with four points from two matches. In their last game, the Australian club drew 1-1 with The Cong-Viettel.

Only two places

This game in Bandung could decide the direction of the race. Only the top two teams in the group advance to the next round, and Melbourne could match Persib's points tally with a win at the GBLA.

Persib are competing in ACL Two for the third consecutive season, as reported by Liputan6. In 2024/2025 they were eliminated in the group stage. The following season, the Maung Bandung reached the knockout round but were immediately knocked out by Thailand's Ratchaburi FC, losing 3-1 on aggregate.

Persib earned their place in this season's group stage with a 1-0 win over the Philippines' Manila Digger in the play-off round at the end of August. Mariano Peralta scored the only goal.

Wednesday night's match will be broadcast live on RCTI and is available on the Vision+ streaming service.
