Jorge Martin cracks wrist, Aprilia yet to decide on Sepang
With more than 10 years of experience in online marketing, five of them focused on the gaming affiliate sector, Martins Lasmanis is a true expert in his field. His vision today is to build the largest lead-generation company in the world. Luckily, we have the perfect team to make that dream come true!
Aprilia have not yet decided whether Jorge Martin can race at the 2026 Malaysian MotoGP at the Sepang circuit. The Aprilia rider cracked his wrist in the sprint race of the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island.
Martin crashed at Turn 8 in that sprint. The injury forced him out of Sunday's main race, which was eventually cancelled because of bad weather.
That means Marc Marquez arrives at Sepang leading the championship by 10 points over Martin.
Massimo Rivola hopes Martin can race at Sepang. Even so, Aprilia have not made a decision on their rider's participation, so Martin's status remains open going into the race weekend.
The Malaysian round runs from 30 October to 1 November. The sprint is on Saturday, 31 October, and the main race on Sunday, 1 November. Both start at 3pm Malaysian time, which is 2pm Western Indonesia Time.
The first session at Sepang is on Friday, 30 October, and until then Aprilia are still weighing the state of Martin's wrist.
