Indonesia Face Japan and Thailand in Afternoon Kick-offs at 2027 Asian Cup

The AFC has released the schedule for the 2027 Asian Cup. The Indonesia national team open Group F against Japan on Monday, 11 January 2027, at 17.30 WIB.

The AFC announcement came out on Monday (26 October) around midday WIB. Indonesia are in a group with Japan, Qatar and Thailand. The Garuda meet Japan straight away in their opening match.

Indonesia Group F Schedule

Here is the Garuda's group stage schedule with times in WIB:

  • Monday, 11 January 2027, 17.30 WIB: Japan vs Indonesia, Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium, Jeddah
  • Saturday, 16 January 2027, 23.30 WIB: Indonesia vs Qatar, Aramco Stadium, Al Khobar
  • Wednesday, 20 January 2027, 17.30 WIB: Thailand vs Indonesia, King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah

Two afternoon games and one night game. Japan and Thailand both kick off at 17.30 WIB, while Qatar do not play until 23.30 WIB at Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar.

Two of the three group matches will be held in Jeddah, including the final group game against Thailand on Wednesday, 20 January 2027, at 17.30 WIB.

After Japan, the Garuda face Qatar straight away on Saturday, 16 January 2027, at 23.30 WIB, in Al Khobar.
